US space company Axiom Space launched its second private mission to the International Space Station yesterday, 21 May. They will stay in space for 12 days.
The Axiom-2 mission is commanded by Axiom Space’s Director of Human Spaceflight Peggy Whitson, a former NASA astronaut and ISS commander, and the other spaceflight participants are aviator John Shoffner, who serves as a pilot, and mission specialists Ali Alqarni and Rayyanah Barnawi from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
