i-Space, a Beijing-based rocket developer, tested successfully their reusable rocket demonstrator SQX-2Y on Thursday 2 November at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China.

The 17-meter-tall rocket is powered by a liquid oxygen methane engine. It raised up to 178.42 meters before coming again down and landed smoothly after a 50-second flight.

According to i-Space, the landing accuracy was about 1.68 meters.
