Webb's take on star-forming region in the Rho Ophiuchi

First images of the Webb Space Telescope were unveiled an year ago. After those stunning photos Webb has taken loads of different photos and made measurements from diversity of targets ranging from our Solar system to the edge of the universe.

The most recent published photo is this view into a small star-forming region in the Rho Ophiuchi cloud complex. While the region is relatively quiet, its proximity at 390 light-years makes for a highly detailed close-up, with no foreground stars in the intervening space.
